The Solid Shocks Co. 4.0″ Coilover shock is built for heavy chassis, big-bore suspension, and the most demanding off-road applications. Larger body, more oil, more cooling, more control — engineered, machined, and assembled in the USA.
Internal Bypass Technology
- Engineered for exceptional mid-travel comfort and a noticeably smoother ride.
- Built-in progressive bump zone increases resistance as the shock nears full compression — dramatically reducing harsh bottom-outs in deep holes and big hits.
- Precision-tuned bypass bleed ports allow a larger volume of fluid to circulate with less resistance, delivering:
- A more comfortable ride across small, choppy terrain.
- Lower operating temperatures, helping prevent shock fade during extended use.
Larger Reservoir & Double-Sealed Piston
- Increased oil capacity and higher nitrogen pressure deliver consistent damping under the toughest conditions.
- Double-sealed piston keeps oil and nitrogen completely separated for long-term reliability.
- More fluid volume equals better cooling and longer shock life in punishing off-road environments.
