From BMX trails to Baja race courses, Geoff Falzone has spent a lifetime chasing speed and developing stronger equipment. Growing up as a BMX rider in the 1980s, he spent countless hours riding dirt trails, shaping jumps, and learning how to push bikes—and himself—to the limit. Even back then, his passion for performance went beyond just riding; he was fascinating with the TIG-welded, chromoly construction of the BMX frames, an early sign of the engineering mindset that would later define his career.

His first taste of desert racing came in 1986, and it sparked a lifelong obsession with off-road competition. Over the years, Geoff not only raced but also supported numerous race teams, including Stan Parnell, Gale Pike, Ivan Stewart, Andataco Racing, and Cameron Steele just to name a few.  Here he gained an inside look at what vehicles—and drivers—really need to succeed. This hands-on experience as both an enthusiast and a team supporter led to the founding of Giant Motorsport in 2000, a company dedicated to building high-performance suspension systems.

But he wasn’t content to stop there. Drawing on decades of racing insight, Geoff set out to create a shock that delivered more comfort in the rough and more progression in the big hits—engineering a shock that keeps you fast, smooth, and in control, no matter how punishing the terrain.
